Malignant melanoma is one of the most deadly cancers if not discovered in time. With an early diagnosis, it is almost 100 percent curable. The number of cases is increasing by about 6 percent per year.
The Swedish company SciBase has developed a unique method and technology, that gives the ability to easily and safely detect skin cancer in just a few minutes. The method is called Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). It is safe and non-invasive and has been tested for several years. Studies show that the SciBase method accurately detects skin cancers such as malignant melanoma. The intention is to use the method at clinics and hospitals.
